Why the Wizard of Oz reference?

In the early 80s I was a construction Rigger doing shut downs both at Dandy and the bend my highlight was the magnificent cafeterias . There's probably more construction folk who spent their lives in all the vehicle building factories than actual GMH employees. Every model change each year meant a rework of the assembly lines each year. I wonder how many riggers died of asbestosis from chopping thru asbestos roofs adding new stacks etc. Mmmmm the food there was so good ! A 3 course meal for smoko !

This young lady is very talented. I've always been intrigued by the mind of designers. I was told at school that those with artistic skills would not be able to accommodate scientific skills as well. I now see this as false. Architects, engineers, maxillo-facial surgeons... the list is endless continually have to combine the two. Good for her. Long may her career be successful.

So odd that you have compulsory voting. Here in the UK voting isn’t compulsory and... Last general election the turn out was 67.3 percent (the lowest ever for a general election was in 1918 at only 57.2 percent) During EU elections uk turnout is only around 30 percent 😂 And during local elections it’s usually 35 percent My parents vote usually in the local and national elections but not the EU or Police and crime commissioner ones because they just don’t want too!
